My Dear Parishioners,

Today the Premier announced that the current lockdown including for the Greater Sydney Area will continue for another week until midnight Friday 16 July 2021.

Until further notice or until lockdown has been lifted, ALL PUBLIC MASSES ARE CANCELLED. Also, all other meetings or gatherings in the Parish are postponed until further notice.

All Masses until 16 July have been deleted from Eventbrite, and once people are able to attend, we will reopen the site for registrations to occur. QR registration will also be available when entering at the church doors.

I will continue to livestream the SATURDAY 6.00PM VIGIL MASS AND TUESDAY 6.30PM WEEKDAY MASS. Please pass this information on to any other parishioner you are in contact with.

FUNERALS are still permitted but the one person per 4 square meter rule applies up to a maximum of 100 people including the Priest and funeral directors.

PARISH COLLECTIONS: With all Masses suspended, there are no collections and since there is no ‘jobseeker’ as previously this means there is no income for the Parish. It is vitally important that this occur some other way, otherwise the parish will be placed in a financially untenable position. During lockdown the two collection boxes have been moved to the Parish Office Foyer. Please drop your offering for the first and second collection into these containers when passing the parish Office. If it is closed, place them in either of the secure letter boxes at the front door or the gate. This is one of the reasons why I continue to encourage parishioners to change from the envelopes to Direct Debit or Credit Card contributions to ensure the regular and ongoing income of the parish continues. Please contact the parish office to arrange this. Thank you.

PLANNED GIVING ENVELOPES: New sets of envelopes are now available for the new financial year. THEY HAVE BEEN MOVED FROM THE CHURCH TO THE PARISH OFFICE FOYER. Please collect them as we are not posting them due to the high cost. They are in alphabetical order with surnames written on them. If you wish to move from envelopes to direct electronic giving, please ask at the parish office. PLEASE DESTROY OLD ENVELOPES and ONLY USE NEW ENVELOPES that have been allocated to you commencing week ending 4 July 2021. Don’t worry if you have a different number; this happens when new envelopes are issued and we clean up the database. Thank you for your financial support of the Parish.

PLEASE NOTE: This year we are emailing annual planned giving statements in next few days. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR EMAIL DETAILS WITH THE PARISH OFFICE. If you would like a statement mailed, contact the Parish Office. Thank you.
